Terms for using this website and requesting TownLink internet, repair, voice, Wi-Fi, IT, and infrastructure services.

1. Agreement and service documents

By using this website, you agree to these website terms. When you purchase or authorize a TownLink service, additional documents may apply, including a proposal, service order, installation authorization, repair ticket, acceptable use policy, managed services agreement, invoice, or other written terms.

If a signed or accepted service document conflicts with these website terms, the service document controls for that service.

2. Website information, requests, and pricing

Website content is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. Submitting a request does not guarantee coverage, scheduling, pricing, repairability, or acceptance of a project. A binding service commitment is created only when TownLink accepts the work through an applicable service document or other written confirmation.

Displayed prices are starting or standard prices unless stated otherwise. Taxes, permits, hardware, parts, travel, installation conditions, after-hours labor, overages, and custom work may cost extra. TownLink will document the applicable scope and charges before authorized work moves forward.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact, location, device, system, and access information.
  • Have authority to approve work at the property and on the equipment involved.
  • Provide safe, lawful access to required rooms, structures, power, and equipment.
  • Use TownLink services lawfully and avoid activity that harms networks, systems, or other users.
  • Pay approved invoices according to the terms shown on the invoice or service document.

4. Internet and network services

Service availability depends on location, line of sight, terrain, vegetation, structures, equipment, network capacity, electrical service, and other technical conditions. Advertised speeds describe the service tier and are not a guarantee that every device or application will achieve that speed at all times.

Internet and network services may be interrupted by maintenance, weather, power loss, upstream providers, radio interference, equipment failure, emergency work, or conditions outside TownLink's reasonable control. Customer Wi-Fi performance also depends on the building, device, interference, placement, and customer-owned equipment.

5. Managed IT, voice, cameras, cabling, and project work

Project scope, included labor, equipment, response targets, support hours, staff or seat limits, and recurring charges are defined in the applicable proposal or agreement. Response targets begin only after the required request is received through the designated support channel and may exclude events outside the agreed scope.

Customer approval may be required for hardware purchases, licensing, third-party subscriptions, expanded scope, emergency work, or remediation discovered after work begins.

6. Device and circuit-board repairs

Diagnostics and repair estimates are based on the condition visible at the time of inspection. Additional damage may appear after disassembly or testing. TownLink will seek approval before performing work outside an authorized estimate.

Customers should back up important data before delivering a device. Repair and diagnostic work can involve disassembly, testing, software changes, storage access, or replacement parts, and no repair process can eliminate every risk of data loss or additional failure. Do not provide a device containing data you are not authorized to access.

Parts availability, manufacturer restrictions, previous repair attempts, liquid damage, corrosion, and board condition may affect cost, timing, warranty eligibility, or whether a device can be repaired. Repair-specific warranty terms, if any, will appear on the repair ticket or invoice.

7. TownLink On-the-Go and public Wi-Fi

Public Wi-Fi is a shared service. Availability, speed, coverage, session length, and payment options may vary by location or event. Users are responsible for protecting their devices and communications, using secure websites and applications, and avoiding the transmission of sensitive information over networks they do not trust.

You may not use public Wi-Fi for unlawful activity, harassment, unauthorized access, malware, excessive automated traffic, infringement, interference, or activity that disrupts service for others. TownLink may limit or suspend access to protect users, the network, or the public.

8. Status information and third-party services

The status page provides broad customer-facing information and may not identify every localized issue or update immediately. If you are experiencing a problem, call TownLink or submit a service request.

UISP customer management, FreshBooks, Google Maps, Google Ads, equipment platforms, software vendors, and linked websites are operated by third parties. Their availability and terms are controlled by those providers.

9. Intellectual property and acceptable website use

TownLink names, logos, website design, text, photographs, and other materials are owned by TownLink or used with permission. You may view and print website information for personal or internal business use, but may not republish, misrepresent, scrape at scale, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided as available without warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Service warranties, credits, and remedies are limited to those stated in the applicable service document.

To the extent permitted by law, TownLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, lost business, or losses caused by third-party services, customer equipment, unauthorized use, or events outside TownLink's reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing law and changes

These website terms are governed by Missouri law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not governed by a separate agreement will be handled in a court with jurisdiction in Washington County, Missouri, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

TownLink may update these terms as services or legal requirements change. Continued website use after publication of revised terms means the revised website terms apply to that later use.
