1. Scope and who we are

This policy applies to the TownLink / Link-MO website and the information you provide through its contact links and request form. TownLink provides internet, public Wi-Fi, repair, voice, managed IT, and technology services from 112 E High St, Potosi, Missouri 63664.

Separate or embedded services, including the UISP signup form, FreshBooks payment pages, and other third-party websites, have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us, start a UISP signup, request a quote, report a service issue, or ask about a repair, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, service or event address, dates, staff or crowd size, device and system details, photos, measurements, symptoms, and other information you choose to include.

The website request form prepares an email in your email application. The website does not directly upload or store the form fields or selected photos. Your email provider and TownLink's email provider process the message when you send it.

The embedded TownLink signup form is delivered by our UISP customer-management system. Information entered in that form is sent directly to TownLink's UISP system to create a new-service lead for coverage and installation follow-up.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referring page, date, time, and security events. We also use the Google tag for advertising and conversion measurement, as described below.

Billing information

TownLink uses FreshBooks for invoices and payment links. Payment card and bank information entered on a FreshBooks page is handled by FreshBooks and its payment providers, not by this website.

• Check service availability and plan installations or technology projects.

• Protect the website, network, customers, and TownLink from misuse or security threats.

4. When information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help operate our business, such as UISP customer management, website hosting, email, FreshBooks billing, Google advertising measurement, equipment vendors, and contractors involved in an approved service or installation. They receive information appropriate to the work they perform.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to enforce agreements, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell information submitted through the website request form for money.

5. Cookies, local storage, and Google Ads

The site stores your light or dark theme choice in session storage. This preference normally remains only for the current browser session.

The Google tag may use cookies or similar identifiers to understand whether a visitor arrived through an advertisement and whether a request action occurred. Google may receive device, browser, page, ad-click, and conversion-event information. Our current conversion event does not send the name, address, contact details, photos, or message entered in the request form to Google.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings and manage advertising choices through Google's ad settings. Blocking measurement technologies may reduce tracking accuracy but does not prevent you from calling or emailing TownLink.

6. Retention and security

We retain customer communications and business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and customer relationship.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website, email system, wireless network, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the general request form.

7. Your choices

You may contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we maintain, subject to identity verification and records we must retain. You may also use browser controls to clear or restrict cookies and session storage.

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 through this website.

8. Third-party links and policy updates

Links to Google Maps, FreshBooks, and other external services take you to websites controlled by those providers. Review their policies before providing information.

We may update this policy as our website or services change. The effective date at the top shows the latest published revision.
